Scott S. Weltman

Scott has previously been an Associate and a Partner in Consumer Collections, as the manager of the firm’s Probate Group, with additional concentrations in the Commercial Banking, Commercial Business, Special Collections and Commercial/Agency Services Groups. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive collection litigation experience, managing cases of varying size and degree of difficulty.Scott earned a B.S. magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 1986 and a J.D. from the University of Southern California, The Law School in 1989. A member of the California, Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, Scott is licensed in California and Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Central District of California) and the U.S. Supreme Court.Scott is currently a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi and Order-of-the-Coif. He is also a board member of Adult Guardianship Services. Scott was selected multiple years for inclusion in Ohio Super Lawyers (2005, 2007, 2010-2013), as well as Ohio Rising Stars (2005).
