FLINT, Mich. – Officials at Dort FCU are winnowing down a pile of 100 applications they have received for two home foreclosures they are giving away in the credit union’s Home for the Holidays Contest.

The credit union is giving away a 1,800-square-foot home ranch property in Flint, and a 1,000-square-foot three-bedroom home in Davison. Both properties are mortgage free, and applicants must meet a list of requirements, among them a credit check, residency, and write a personal essay. The next step is a personal interview.
Winners will be selected from a drawing and announced on Dec. 22.
