BETHPAGE, N.Y. – Bethpage FCU’s Hurricane Sandy disaster relief fund has now raised more than $104,000 for the United Way of Long Island to support communities in need.

Half of that amount came from donations from individual members and local businesses, with the credit union making a matching donation to double the total amount raised.
“With the help of several generous Long Island businesses and Bethpage members, we were able to help make a substantial donation to the United Way of Long Island to help our friends and families get back on their feet,” said Bethpage CEO Kirk Kordelski.
