JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – 121 Financial Credit Union has begun offering upgraded health services benefits to its members through a partnership with Benefits Plus.
The Benefits Plus program, which provides a variety of discounts for numerous personal services, offers health services discounts that will mean substantial savings for its members, ranging from prescriptions to eyeglasses to corrective surgery, according to CEO William Braddock.
121 Financial’s Benefits Plus program has partnered with WellCard Health (through WellDyne RX) to offer savings of up to 60% on prescriptions from major drugstore chains, including Walgreen’s, CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, Sam’s and Kmart and others, the credit union reported. Discounts also are available through Outlook Vision Services for savings up to 50% off the price of eyeglasses, contact lenses, sunglasses and even corrective surgery, involving Lasik and RPK. Major chains participating include Sears, JC Penney, Target, Lens-Crafters and Wal-Mart.
