MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – A lucky member of 167th TFR FCU drove away from Saturday’s 50th anniversary celebration in a new Chevy Malibu.
Master Sgt. Tim Shipway was one of 143 contestants in the contest aimed at recruiting new members.
In addition to the grand prize winner, four other finalists took home $100 in cash. The other contestants who attended were given one of about 20 treasure chests, which each held between $60 and $100 in cash.
The $36 million credit union was chartered in 1959 to serve the West Virginia Air Guard 167th Airlift Wing.
