PLEASANTON, Calif. – 1st United Services CU said it is donating critically needed high-tech equipment to Oakland Technical High School and Piedmont High School to commemorate the opening of its newest branch in the Rockridge Shopping Center.
The credit union consulted with administrators at the two high schools and agreed to donate a state-of-the-art color laser printer and operating supplies that students will use at Oakland Tech, and a 40-inch LCD monitor that will be used as a teaching aide at Piedmont High School.
The credit union said its new branch will open Saturday and will provide a full range of financial products.
