PLEASANTON, Calif. – 1st United Services CU will donate $25 to the Eden Medical Center Foundation for every qualifying direct-deposit checking account opened by residents of Alameda and Contra Costa counties during 2010.

The donations will help fund critically needed medical equipment and technologies for the new Sutter Medical Center Castro Valley, which is set to open in 2013 and will replace the current Eden Medical Center.
In addition, the new account holder will receive a $25 "thank you" from 1st United Services CU.
