BILLINGS, Mont. – A former teller at McCone County FCU was sentenced Friday to one day in prison and three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to embezzling $12,300 from the credit union.

Bridget Loudon was able to cover up embezzlement during a cash drawer audit in July 2005. After learning there would be another audit in July 2006, she deposited a $9,000 credit card check and transferred money from her savings account into her cash drawer.
Prosecutors said she admitted to the scheme after photographs taken of her drawer a week before the second audit showed its contents to be about $350.
