MILWAUKIE, Ore. – Advantis CU is ratcheting up its fundraising efforts in an attempt to provide $100,000 to build two homes for disabled veterans.
The credit union, which is teaming with Homes for Our Troops for the project, has raised $34,000 so far. The organization has built 57 houses for injured veterans and 45 are in the works, including the two Oregon homes.
Advantis has put out a call to action to its 40,000 members across the state.
