SUITLAND, Md. - Andrews FCU has added a series of free financial webcasts for members through its Online Education Center. The new education webcasts, each approximately five minutes in length, highlight various financial topics like budgeting, credit management, teaching kids about money and college planning, the credit union said.
The financial webcasts are part of a larger strategy to make financial education resources accessible to more members. “We all lead busy lives. The financial webcasts give our members the option to have this information readily available to them any time both day and night anywhere in the world,” said Suzanne Curren, director of member education. “Although we do provide a variety of in-person seminars, the webcasts give members the flexibility to gather the information on their time. It also provides a more personalized approach since the facilitator for each webcast is an AFCU staff member.”
