HILLSBOROUGH, N.J. – Township officials last week authorized a two-year contract with Affinity FCU to operate, manage and administer the township’s credit card program.

The deal will allow individuals to sign up for a credit card, which in turn will benefit township programs.
A percentage of the amount of usage on the credit card will be returned to the township's Credit Card Trust Fund, where it will be distributed to help fund various nonprofit Township organizations, including senior citizen and youth programs.
The credit card program reimburses the township at the initial rate of 30% of the total interchange rate. Funds are deposited into a trust account to be distributed to senior and youth group programs.
