NEW YORK — It's a new day at Credit Union Journal, and along with that comes a vastly expanded and improved "Day in the Life of Credit Unions."
For the first time in its 18-year history, the much-anticipated and popular annual "Day in the Life" special report is now open for photo submissions from all credit unions across the nation (and we even hope to draw a few international entries as well).
In addition, we want to make it as simple as possible for your CU to send us images of the happenings going on Wednesday, Aug. 13. To that end, we invite you to submit your photos at
The other big thing we're doing differently this year (see related story on page 4) is significantly expanding the digital reach of this special report and asking readers to vote on their favorite images in various categories.
CU Journal encourages you to take photos ranging from selfies to group shots (inside and outside).
Don't forget to send pictures of your staff helping members and the community in all the ways we know credit unions do.
We've always published photos of members conducting their CU business in branches as well as in drive-thrus. So expect to be able to submit — and then vote — on images in all of these categories and more.
