RIVERSIDE, Calif. – One lucky member of Altura CU got the chance to meet Grammy-award winning country music singer Carrie Underwood at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival held earlier this month in Indio after winning the grand prize in an Altura debit card sweepstakes.
Miriam Blum won tickets for herself and a guest to attend the two-day Stagecoach Country Music Festival, including backstage passes to meet Underwood. As an added treat, she also met the members of Rascal Flatts while backstage.
Blum won the passes simply by registering and then using her Altura Visa debit card to make purchases. Once Altura members registered their card, every time they swiped it to make a purchase they were entered to win. More than 13,000 people registered their cards.
In addition, people could enter to win other prizes as part of this promotion by “liking” Altura’s Facebook page. In all, Altura distributed 27 prizes, including iPods, movie passes and more.
