RIVERDALE, Utah – America First CU contributed10 pallets of food -- about 12,000 pounds -- to the Utah Food Bank last week.

The food drive, which the credit union has been doing for six years, has been going on for five weeks. Every branch in the state had a box in which staff and members could place canned and nonperishable foods for donation.
In addition to the food, the credit union purchased 5,000 pounds of turkeys to donate.
The food will provide about 12,000 meals for families. Food packages contain about 15 meals, so the donation will help feed about 800 families.
