FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines FCU announced this morning it has signed with Jack Henry & Associates’ Symitar to convert the $6 billion credit union core processing system to the new Episys system.
Symitar’s Episys system will offer American Airlines FCU functionality, customization capabilities to faster deliver product enhancements and the ability to tailor products and services for members.
“While many of the real benefits go on behind the scenes, these advanced will definitely translate into an improved credit union experience for everyone,” said Gary Lindsey, chief information officer for the credit union giant. “That means increased efficiency, shorter wait times and better overall personal service for our more than 232,000 member-owners.”
The conversion will take place in about 18 months.
