Andrews acquired Washington as part of its field of membership in 2003. The suburban Maryland credit union was one of seven allowed to serve the entire Capital City under NCUA’s underserved expansions.

The $800 million credit union has launched a series of three cable, print and transit ads called “Imagine the Possibilities” which focus on its car loans, home equity loans and the general benefits of membership.

The 30-second cable spots are airing on major cable stations including Lifetime, TNT, USA, BET, CNBC, Discovery, Food Network, Fox News, HGTV, The History Channel and TLC. Transit ads will run in 50% of the market with placement in 15 prominent stations of the Washington area’s Metro.

The spots encourage the target audience to open an account or apply for a loan online or through the credit union’s toll free number.
