FAIRFAX, Va. – Apple FCU’s new student-run branch will not only serves students and faculty at Battlefield High School but also serve as a resource to help expand the horizons of special education students within the school.
When possible, Apple, which runs one of the largest in-school branch networks, works to partner with a school’s special education students to insure that everyone has an opportunity to gain practical financial and life skills for their years beyond high school. At Battlefield, learning and physically disabled students interested in working with Apple will partner with the school’s accounting classes to help staff the location and serve credit union members.
The new branch will be the credit union’s 36th student-run branch.
