ARCATA, Calif. -- A man in a clown mask, who allegedly tried to use stolen credit and debit cards at a Coast Central CU ATM Monday was arrested by police later after a 90-minute stand-off. The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Aaron Holland, was first spotted pumping gas at the local Chevron station wearing the clown mask. Later, credit union employees saw the masked suspect trying unsuccessfully to tap into the ATM using a variety of stolen cards. Police tracked the suspect to his trailer home where they tried to induce him to come out, but were forced to enter with a key provided by the manager when he refused to respond. There they found Holland and his girlfriend huddled in the bathroom. A number of stolen cards and Holland's wallet were recovered outside the trailer.
