HARRISBURG, Penn. – Bankers in Pennsylvania have filed a response in Federal District Court to a ruling on field of membership involving three credit unions in the state.

The bankers asked that the three credit unions, AmeriChoice FCU, Members 1st FCU and New Cumberland FCU, be returned to the FOMs they had prior to being approved for a six-county community charter by NCUA. The bankers have not asked that members who joined as a result of the expanded FOM be divested.
NCUA and the three credit unions have until Sept. 4 to respond.
