The MCUA has named Don Cohenour as its interim president. Cohenour has been chief membership officer with the MCUA, and prior to that held positions as a credit union CEO, a consultant with the Kansas Department of Credit Unions and also spent six years as controller of US Central Credit Union.

In a statement released by the MCUA, Chairman Dennis Pierce, CEO of CommunityAmerica Credit Union, said, "Mike has provided strong leadership and has helped set the direction and vision to help MCUA and the credit unions of Missouri succeed. His work to develop the plans for Statewide Consumer Outreach Program and Community Development Financial Institutions Initiative are a great legacy." For Beall the new position will be a move back to an earlier home.

Prior to joining the MCUA, Beall was president of the Maryland and District of Columbia Credit Union Association.
