TUKWILA, Wash. – BECU said yesterday it has signed with Golden Gateway Financial to provide reverse mortgage services to its members and those of hundreds of credit unions served through its Prime Alliance Solutions mortgage subsidiary.
Golden Gateway, based in Oakland, Calif., will provide white label solutions for Prime Alliance, including web interface, reverse mortgage comparison tools and calculators to help older homeowners prepare for retirement by borrowing against their homes. In exchange, Prime Alliance Solutions will market and distribute Golden Gateway's reverse mortgage offering exclusively to its network of credit unions.
Golden Gateway will provide educational and marketing materials to help BECU begin a discussion with their membership about the benefits of a reverse mortgage.
Prime Alliance is a wholly owned subsidiary of BECU offers a full variety of real estate services, including online applications, loan origination software, loan servicing, closing and settlement services, real estate services to more than 1,600 credit unions.
