In a nod to the increasing numbers of members using the web to access services, Bellco Credit Union partnered with Open Technology Solutions, Inc. (OTS) to redesign its Web site, www.bellco.org, and its online banking suite, BELLCOnline.
The new features of the site are based on member feedback and comprehensive surveys Bellco conducted with hundreds of its members and staff.
Bellco members can choose the amount of time after which they want to be logged out of the system when they are inactive, an enhancement popular with Bill Pay and Account Aggregation users. The streamlined design, new hardware architecture, and new .NET framework has resulted in a 38% decrease in the time it takes pages to load, and features easier access to live chat with customer service representatives and institution-to-institution transfers.
