WOODBRIDGE Va. – Belvoir FCU, the credit union for Fort Belvoir, rewarded its members last week with a special 10% certificate in honor of the National Military Saves campaign.

The $280 million credit union, which serves Fort Belvoir and the U.S. Army from outside of Washington, D.C., sold 24 of the certificates to eligible service members last week.
Military Saves is an offshoot of the America Saves program and is aimed at encouraging military families towards long-term savings and wealth-building. As part of the campaign servicemen and women are encouraged to “Take the Pledge” to build wealth rather than debt.
