Berrien Teachers CU Honors New Branch With New Name

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Berrien Teachers CU will officially change its name to Honor CU on July 1 and will celebrate the name change and the opening of a new branch in Niles with daylong grand opening celebrations at each of its seven offices.

CEO Scott McFarland said the new name, Honor Credit Union, symbolizes the institution's values of fairness, integrity, respect and trust. "Honor reflects how we have done business for the last 75 years and how we will continue to do business for years to come," McFarland said. "Although the look will be different, our products, services, community commitment, and most of all our people, will not change."

The $280 million credit union serves more than 25,000 members in Berrien, Cass, Van Buren and Allegan counties.
