Under the agreement, Catalyst will resell teller and mobile capture, in addition to branch, merchant, ATM, and home capture channels. Bluepoint's ImagePoint Teller will be available for purchase directly from Catalyst and QwikDeposit ToGo is available integrated with Catalyst's current mobile banking app.

Additional offerings are also in the pipeline. Andrew Tilbury, chief marketing officer with Bluepoint said another upgrade will soon debut that will allow CUs tomove from branch capture to teller capture. "That will bring a lot of efficiencies, primarily in fraud detection and moving the process along faster," said Tilbury.

Tilbury said one ongoing issue with mobile capture has been some misunderstandings related to cost and ROI. "But there is an inherent value in engaging withyour members in any way you can," said Tilbury.

As more players enter payments consumers continue to show a strong preference for their financial institution to handle processing of those payments. "We plan to educate Catalyst's credit unions about their options, especially smaller credit unions that have a comfort level with buying from their corporate," he said.
