VISTA, Calif. – Bluepoint Solutions, a provider of Check21 and multi-factor identification software technology for financial institutions, said it has agreed to acquire Avalon International, a provider of .Net technology solutions for image payment and advanced item processing.

Avalon International, located in Norcross, Ga., will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bluepoint Solutions.
Avalon is the developer of ImagePoint, which the company said is built for Check21 from the ground up using Microsoft .NET, Web Services and features SQL Server and Oracle.
Financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
