Cardtronics Goes Shopping With Kroger

HOUSTON – Cardtronics, the biggest provider of ATMs in the country, said yesterday it has signed with Kroger Co. to manage 800 ATMs on the company’s supermarkets.

The multi-year contract calls for ATM installation, complete cash management, maintenance, customer service, monitoring, and transaction processing services.

Cardtronics expects to begin managing the Kroger ATMs starting in the third quarter of 2010.

Cardtronics manages more than 30,000 ATMs and is connected to the nation’s credit unions through CO-OP Financial Services, the Credit Union 24 and Financial Service Cooperative Centers shared branching network.
