ROSEBURG, Ore. – Cascade Community CU has awarded 50 area teachers from 32 schools mini-grants totaling $10,000.

The grants help pay the additional expenses associated with special classroom projects. Projects which some educators say may not have happened in this economy.
They are going to be used in the classrooms for teachers to use to be able to work with the kids as far as buying extra supplies and things that will really enhance the learning experience that's already taking place.
