WICHITA, Kan. – Catholic Family FCU has hired local contractor Van Asdale Construction LLC to build a new home office for the $25 million credit union.
The cost of the 6,200-square-foot building is $1.2 million, which includes equipment and furnishings. The offices will have will have an ATM, three drive-through teller lanes and safe deposit boxes. It also will have a multipurpose room for board meetings and other events.
The facility is expected to open in early 2011.
The Philadelphia-based bank's parent company, Republic First Bancshares, had been roiled by a yearslong proxy battle involving activist investors groups and its former CEO.
