PALO ALTO, Calif. - VMware Inc, a provider of virtualization solutions, said Consumers Credit Union (CCU) has deployed VMware Infrastructure, its datacenter virtualization and management suite. The $500-million Consumers CU said its growth to more than 50,000 members and seven offices led it to seek out solutions to help manage that growth and build out its virtualized IT infrastructure. CCU currently has 30 virtual machines running on three physical hosts, for a 10:1 server consolidation ratio.
