WASHINGTON – The National Federation of Community Development CUs yesterday said Pamela Owens, its director of education and training as a 13-year employee at the Federation, will serve as interim CEO following the departure of Cliff Rosenthal to Washington.

The Federation will begin a nationwide search to replace Rosenthal, one of the pioneers of the community development banking movement.
Rosenthal has taken a job with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as assistant director, leading the Office of Financial Empowerment.
