Paul Howard, 59, is seeking back wages and benefits, including more than $63,000 he was supposed to receive annually in retirement, plus $25,000 in damages for emotional distress and anxiety, according to the suit filed in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.

In his suit, Howard claims he was never invited to participate in an investigation into allegations of an inappropriate relationship. He also claims younger female employees, including the one with whom he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship, were treated more favorably than him.

Howard's firing allowed the credit union to keep the female workers, he claims. He also claims he was replaced by someone "much younger" who has fewer qualifications.
