THREE RIVERS, Mich. – The CEO of a now-defunct St. Joseph Valley Community FCU yesterday pleaded guilty to theft charges for using her credit union credit card to rack up more than $100,000 of personal expenses.
Kristen Taft, 57, will be sentenced April 27.
The unauthorized use of the credit card took place over the final seven of Taft’s 22 years of employment with the credit union, according to prosecutors.
In addition to fines and possible jail time, Taft will be required to pay restitution to the credit union.
