CEO Retiring From Prince George’s FCU

BOWIE, Md. – Prince George’s FCU said Cindy Prestandrea, its CEO since 1995, is retiring from the $131-million credit union at year end.

Under Prestandrea’s leadership, the credit union has doubled in size and teamed with the Maryland Department of Corrections and the Women Empowerment Program to bring financial literacy programs to women inmates. She also spearheaded efforts to bring the City Dance Program into Prince George’s County and provide school boxes to underserved children.

A new CEO will be announced shortly, Prince George FCU said.

Membership in the credit union is open to consumers and businesses in Prince George’s County in suburban Washington, D.C.
