WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Allegacy FCU made five winners and their charities of choice $1,000 richer as a result of its Grand Holiday Giveaway debit card sweepstakes.
The promotion, that ran Nov. 1 through Dec. 15, entered members into a drawing every time they used their Allegacy Visa Check Card for a signature-based transaction of $50 or more. Five winners were randomly selected on Dec. 17, 20, 21, 22 and 23.
Each winner directed their $1,000 prize to the charity of their choice, which included: Prodigals Community, Palliative CareCenter, Derrick L. Davis Forsyth Regional Cancer Center, Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home and Ronald McDonald House.
“This promotion allowed us to give our members the opportunity to uphold the credit union philosophy and help others in our community which is a great feeling for them and us,” said Allegacy President Ike Keener, Jr.
