NORTH WALES, Pa. - (12/23/04) -- Using a cow, a field and asweepstakes, Merck Sharp & Dohme FCU was able to raise almost$14,000 for charity. The credit union divided a field at theMontgomery County 4-H center into 3' x 3' pieces of property, thensold each piece for a $10 donation. A cow was sent out to pastureand whoever 'owned' the property on which the cow did its businesswas declared the winner. The winning deed was purchased by PSBMarketing Supersource, Lake Forest, Calif., which donated itswinnings back to charity.
