SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Christian Community CU yesterday announced an affinity card deal with Mission Aviation Fellowship aimed at generating thousands of dollars to help fund missionary work in Third World countries.
The Visa card program offers no annual fees; 0% introductory rate for the first six months on purchases; 2.9% rate for 18 months on balance transfers from high-rate cards; up to 10,000 bonus points and rewards for airfare, travel and merchandise.
The $450 million credit union designed the card and the unique donation program, through which the credit union will contribute $25 to the Fellowship for every credit card approved.
The MAF missionary teams operate a fleet of 134 bush aircraft which facilitates missionary work in 51 African, Asian and Latin American countries. The flights transport missionaries, medical personnel, medicine and relief supplies, and conduct medical evacuations.
