FORT DODGE, Iowa – Citizens Community CU announced the retirement of Paul Becker, who has headed the one-time Hormel CU since 1976, building it into a $145-million credit union.

Becker will be succeeded as CEO by Sean Hanley, the credit union’s chief financial officer the past five years.
Becker served as chairman of the Iowa CU League, on the Review Board State of Iowa CU Division, and on political key contact group working directly with Senator Charles Grassley and Representative Tom Latham, among other things.
Citizens Community will host an Open House to celebrate Becker’s career on April 5 at its main office.
