MADISON, Wis. - Two California-based companies have joined the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) as associate members, bringing the number of organizations to eight that function as non-voting associate members of the group. The new members: CO-OP Financial Services in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Financial Service Centers Cooperative (FSCC) in San Dimas, Calif.
In announcing their support, CO-OP CEO Stan Hollen cited that company’s work via its Next Generation Network to complete international shared branch transactions in Ecuador, while FSCC CEO Sarah Canepa Bang pointed to its six years of experience in international branches.
Other WOCCU associate members include the National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies Ltd.
