CoastHills FCU Raises $33,000 For Hungry Kids

LOMPOC, Calif. – CoastHills FCU said its CoastHills Community Foundation raised $33,000 at the Sept. 20 Rancho Vino, the second food, wine and entertainment event held to help local food banks feed hungry children.

More than 220 people attended the fundraiser at Rancho Miranda in Santa Maria, with proceeds from ticket sales and auction bids to be shared equally between the food banks of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

The funds will be used for the BackPack Program the food banks sponsor in partnership with public schools.
