GREELEY, Colo. – College Credit Union of Greeley, chartered to serve students and employees of the University of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College, has applied to state regulators to expand to a community charter serving 52,000 residents in surrounding Weld County.

The $44 million credit union began serving the city of Greeley and some surrounding areas after a 2005 merger with Weld Community FCU.
The Colorado Financial Services Board will hold a public hearing on the application Oct. 16.
