Colorado CUs Scramble To Serve Fast-Growing Denver Suburbs

The move by the $225-million credit union follows recent approvals for Bellco CU, Public Service CU and Westera CU to also serve Adams County, whose 400,000 residents include much of fast-growing Arvada and Aurora, adjacent to Denver.

Denver Community also seeks to add the Denver bedroom community of Arapahoe County, which includes 570,000 people in Greenwood Village, Columbine, Englewood, Centennial, Aurora and Littleton.

The Colorado Financial Services Board has set a public hearing for April 13 for the latest field of membership bid.
