Colorado’s Red Rocks CU Seeks Big Community Charter

HIGHLAND RANCH, Colo. – Red Rocks CU has applied to state regulators for a community charter serving 1.4 million residents of Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson counties.

The $230-million credit union was chartered in 1979 to serve the employees of Martin Marietta, now Lockheed Martin.

The Colorado Division of Financial Services has scheduled a public hearing on the application for Oct. 11.
