Community Choice Credit Union in Farmington Hills, Mich., has given about $1.8 million to its members through a rewards program.
The "GetBigReward$" program provides monthly credits and loan interest rebates to members who use multiple products and services offered by the $736 million-asset Community Choice.
The $1.8 million in rewards represents about 40% of Community Choice's net earnings in 2015, according to a Wednesday news release.
The credit union has offered the rewards program for three years and has returned a total of about $4.2 million to members over the span of the program.
Community Choice has about 74,000 members and operates five branches in Michigan.
