Community Financial CU Pays Out $300K Dividend

Community Financial Credit Union (CFCU) of Broomfield, Colo., said it will distribute $300,000 to reward its "most loyal members" as part of its Member Bonus program, which is designed to return earnings back to its members.

The $229-million institution said more than 3,200 of its nearly 17,000 members are eligible for the Member Bonus and will receive amounts ranging from $5 to just over $2,000. The payment is calculated based on the amount of interest and dividends earned on deposit accounts, as well as interest paid on loans.

Since 2008, CFCU has paid out $2.4 million to its loyal members.

"2015 was an exciting and successful year," said CFCU president Greg Hill. "We opened our new Huron branch, renovated our Boulder branch and announced plans to merge with Warren Federal Credit Union. We are happy to share this success with our most loyal members."
