Winston-Salem, N.C.-Allegacy Federal Credit Union hosted its annual Don't Wait Benefit Golf Tournament and raised $60,000 to benefit Cancer Services, Inc., and support breast and ovarian cancer awareness. More than 200 golfers participated in the event.

CUAO Holds A Night To Remember
BEAVERTON, Ore.-The 15th Annual Credit Union for Kids Dinner and Auction was held at the Credit Union Association of Oregon's annual meeting. The black tie event, An Affair to Remember, attracted 650 guests and raised more than $140,000 to benefit the children of the Pacific Northwest through pediatric units of Sacred Heart Medical Center, Rogue Valley Medical Center, and Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

PEWAUKEE, Wis.-Five Wisconsin credit unions won Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Awards. First place winners were Marathon County Employees CU, Best Advantage CU, Valley Communities CU, and Prospera CU. AM Community CU earned a 2nd place award.

United Teletech Promotes Good Will
TINTON FALLS, N.J.-United Teletech Federal Credit Union collected food and raised money for The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties during the holiday season.
The credit union also held an auto promotion, "Get Around With Our Low rates, and Win a Segway." When members apply for a new or used auto loan, they are entered into a drawing to win the electric scooter.
