Compass FCU Celebrates Community Charter With Loan Sale

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Compass FCU said it has been approved by NCUA to convert to a community charter serving all of Oswego County.

To celebrate the new charter the $22 million credit union is offering a loan sale, a 1% discount on all vehicle loans; and a 1% discount for loans transferred from another lender.

The credit union was chartered in 1966 as Oswego Aluminum Employees CU, and changed its name to Compass Federal Credit Union in 2005, when Alcan created a new spin-off company called Novelis.
