IRONDALE, Ala.-Corporate America CU announced last week introduced its own mutual fund for credit unions, the Corporate America CU Short Duration Fund.
The new fund was developed by Corporate America's wholly owned Corporate Financial Solutions CUSO and was created as an investment vehicle to assist credit unions that seek to diversify some of their assets by investing in a mutual fund that restricts its investment portfolio to investments and transactions that are permissible for federal credit unions. Minimum investment in the fund will be $50,000.
Corporate Financial Solutions, Inc. is the investment adviser to the fund and U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC will manage the details of operating the Fund.
Thomas Bonds, CEO of Corporate America, will manage the fund.
