AUGUSTA, Maine – cPort CU plans to tear down a former Bonanza Steakhouse here and build a branch at the site.
The branch would replace a rented facility on Western Ave.
The steakhouse restaurant at 399 Western Ave., with its flaking red-painted roof and pot-holed parking lot, closed in 2005.
The $125 million Portland-based credit union also has branches in Portland and Scarborough.
