Finance & Commerce profiled the success of the $39-mllion Highgrove FCU in the years since Ford Motor Co. shutdown its massive plant in St. Paul, Minn. Originally known as Ford Employees FCU, today it is preparting to open a new 12,000 square-foot headquarters as part of a growth plan that concluded Ford workers could never again be the backbone of future growth. Highgrove FCU CEO Pat Johnson was quoted in the story.
